interested to know how to make it?? its actually quite simple (for those who hates baking)... but the process is quite a hassle as it involves several stages.... so, patience is needed while doing this... ok, lets start..
1 - base - i usually use swiss roll for the base... reason being; its soft, sweet & the tase can blend in with the others. But, do be careful what swiss roll u used... like mocha/choc swiss roll not suitable as the taste is strong and doesn't fit in well. Better ones will be pandan, orange or just plain vanilla...
2 - mixed fruit & nata d'coco - spread this over the swiss roll tadi evenly... liquid from mixed fruit tu (syrup) tu jgn buang... instead use it again masa buat jelly..
3 - jello - see, i use the word "jello" instead of jelly... why? coz i'm referrring to the soft jelly and not the hard agar2 tu... ok, if u can't get what i mean... imagine KFC jelly icecream tu... hah!!! yg tu la... so, buat jelly ni tak boleh pakai agar2... but kena beli serbuk jelly lembik tuh... just read instruction how to make it... and don't forget to add in the syrup from above into the mixture masa masak jelly tu. Dah siap, pour over mixed fruit tadi... make sure it covers the mixed fruit... i usually like to use yg strawberry flavor coz of the taste & the vibrant colour... hv to remember, when doing triffle... the diff colour between one layer and another is important.. so that it look more SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! heh...
4 - custard - ok, this is the leceh part... for me la... i usually use Bird Custard Powder and susu cair Ideal... 1 tin of Ideal, pour into a saucepan... leave behind a bit of the milk to add in 2-3 tbs custard powder & 2 tbsp sugar... mix well and when the milk is almost boiling, put in the mixture and stir all the time... sampai jadi custard... make sure to stir all the time sbb if not nanti dia melekat and hangus... bila dah pekat tutup api and let it cool a bit... but dont stop stirring... coz nak buang bubble2 udara... dah siap, pour on top of jelly tadi and spread evenly la.. cool it in the fridge
5 - hiasan - spread over whipped cream on top of custard tadi... then hias la with fruits (strawberry, kiwi, etc) or canned mixed fruit, peaches, etc... hias je la with anything based on what u like... cool it and serve it cold.. for best results :)
TADA.... finish already... u now hv urself one DELICIOUS triffle that could melt any heart that eats it...
